[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide real time captioning services include but are not limited to communication access real-time translation (CART), TypeWell, C-Print, or any other form of real-time captioning service include in-person and remote options.
- The Contractor shall also maintain an adequate number of qualified Service Providers on call to ensure response within the contractually required minimum notice time frame.
- The Contractor shall only send a Service Provider based on a request from the Office of Disability Services (ODS).
- In processing service requests, the Contractor shall use all means available to provide quality services while keeping cost effectiveness as a priority.
- Starting on the effective date of the contract, the Contractor shall receive requests from the ODS and process them accordingly.
- For class-related requests, initial requests for the semester shall include the Student or Contact Person (Consumer) name and his/her class schedule.  
- Any additional requests for services shall be submitted by sending a Request for Service at least three (3) business days in advance of the assignment. The Request for Service shall be submitted online using the Interpreting/Captioning Request Form.
- ODS will inform the Contractor of the type of subject matter to be presented and the Contractor will assign a service provider with the appropriate level of certification and knowledge of the content.
- The Service Provider shall practice the principles of professional demeanor, confidentiality, faithfulness and accuracy when interacting with the individual and providing services.
- System is able to accept manual entry of data
- System should have the ability to brand the online site to meet our University Branding requirements.  (e.g., Colors, Logos, Fonts, Images)
- System should allow content and branding to easily be changed by system Administrators.
- System should have the ability to provide Single Sign On (SSO) for all University-facing applications.  Web applications are required to authenticate through one of the following options:  Federated authentication using Shibboleth, CAS, or ADFS. Should the software be hosted on Texas State servers, it must connect to Active Directory.
- System must support SAML based SSO (e.g., Shibboleth) for hosted solutions. Full implementation and support of secure SAML based SSO constitutes utilizing encrypted and signed SAML assertions, exchange of metadata XML via file or URL, support of attribute release for the exchange of unique denier. Vendor response should specify specifically whether these capabilities can be met.
- System must be able to define the strength and frequency changed for any passwords stored by that system.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 18, 2022
(3) The contract period will be for one year.
